Travelling and Why!!

“Travel does what good novelists also do to the life of everyday, placing it like a picture in a frame or a gem in its setting, so that the intrinsic qualities are made more clear. Travel does this with the very stuff that everyday life is made of, giving to it the sharp contour and meaning of art.” – Freya Stark

When you travel, you see new places, feel the culture and capture them as memories. You can always see travelers chatting all around; the usual conversation about where they come from and where they’re going next. Why one travels : to learn and grow, to challenge oneself, stretch limits and foster an appreciation of both the world at large and the surroundings you have back home.

Everyone has its own travelling personality and to divulge into it deeper, feels like knowing yourself in a new way. So my point here is that travelling is a great way to prove to yourself how wrong you are when you try and live countries by others’ experiences.

Travelling allows you to leave it all behind you and move on in an entirely new direction so that you live in the present instead of fretting about the past and planning for the future. When you travel, you do things you love, you buy treasured souvenirs, you pamper yourself with small pleasures. These actions make you feel good about yourself and hence you go back, rejuvenated.

Retail Therapy Expeditions are an indispensable part of my travelling personality as i simply love to shop and own souvenirs of places i visit, as i am so fond of re-living them when back. It awakens a different side to me and makes me feel more like living life.

Nothing in the world can be as fulfilling as your own travelling experiences because in the end you know, you are taking them with you to be etched in your memory forever.
